In honor of our announcement to travel to Wisconsin at no additional cost for weddings, we’re blasting back to the past to highlight some of our favorite Wisconsin weddings we’ve done over the years. We’re starting with Mae and Steven’s Church of the Gesu on the Marquette University campus and Milwaukee Athletic Club wedding! Summer in Milwaukee ranks pretty high up there as one of our favorite things, so we thoroughly enjoyed spending a summer day downtown with Mae & Steven and their family and friends. The featured picture above was taken during their rooftop cocktail hour atop the Milwaukee Athletic club– what an amazing view! We even snapped a few pics on the riverwalk down the by the Marcus Center after dark! Enjoy this peek into their day! (Are you getting married in Wisconsin? Wow, did we see so many fun, colorful and unique wedding shoes this year! From furry white winter boots to flats coated entirely in candy sprinkles to chucks to cowboy boots. Fun fun fun!!

We saw a lot of gorgeous bouquets in 2011– including one very unique bouquet made entirely of antique drawer pulls. Take a look if you’re in need of some help deciding on flowers and colors. (Featured bouquet above by Jarro Designs Floral Studio, Mahomet, Illinois)

YUM!!! We saw lots of gorgeous and delicious cakes in 2011. And cupcakes and grooms cakes and cake pops! Take a look!

It’s that time of year again! With all of our 2011 weddings finished and time before 2012 wedding season begins, here is inspiration for your own wedding with the 2011 ring shots! I’ll be posting shoes, cakes and flowers in the next few days as well, so stay tuned!

Starting the New Year with a super-sized sneak peek from our last wedding of 2011. Katy and Andrew tied the knot on December 30th in Oak Brook, Illinois with a reception at the Hinsdale Golf Club in Clarendon Hills. Bummer that it rained all day, but we still managed a few epic outdoor pics despite the rain! Stay tuned over the next week for the annual recap inspiration blog posts!

Here’s a peek from Lindy and Ben’s wedding in Champaign-Urbana last weekend! The ceremony was held at the Vineyard Church Urbana with an elegant reception at Refinery! Enjoy the small look into their day and have a wonderful holiday vacation– we’re thankful for our amazing couples– you’re the best!

We could not have asked for a better November day in the Chicago suburbs for Jennifer and Joe’s church wedding and Cotillion Banquets reception. Here is just a peek from their beautiful sunny day! Congrats guys!!

Adding another notch to our “extreme destination wedding photographer” belt– we braved the wind, rain and cold this September at the Oregon coast in the town of Oceanside to capture Katie and David in the midst of the emerging rockforms. Later we headed in the opposite direction of Portland to the Columbia River Gorge where we took full advantage of the amazing waterfalls in the area. We do love a good bride in a tree! Enjoy!

Here’s a preview of Heidi and Brian’s intimate backyard wedding in rural Kansas. The weather was gorgeous and so was the setting for day!
